Event Description:
In this training hosted by the Small Business Development Center attendees will touch on the following topics:
  • Defining the generations
  • Identifying benefits and challenges of each generation
  • Determine what motivates and influences each generation
  • Playing on the strengths
  • Brainstorm ways to build the connections between the generations – ex. create committees with mixed generations, create mentor/protégé teams, …
  • Training employees to manage the gap/educate employees
*By bridging the generation gap, participants can reap the rewards of having different perspectives on your team which can make your multi-generational workplace more successful in the long run.
